It is perhaps ominous that so many of us come into this world crying
This world that shuns difference
How can I not cry coming into this world?
This world that alienates I
Pushes I to the limit
Destroys I wholly
Destroys I that it renders I dead
Destroys I so completely, that I destroy myself
Destroy those who resemble I
It is perhaps ominous that so many of us coming into this world crying
Even if I fail to cry, I will be slapped to remind I to cry for having come into this world
For how can I not cry in such a miserable place?
Where you have normalised : violence, slavery, terror, the utter destruction of the other.
Here where the cries of the other go unheard.
it is perhaps for I that babies cry
(Mamello Mosiana)
